Extended model features a large, easy-to-find, serrated pad to help reduce the time it takes to get the bolt back into battery after a magazine change, and is standard issue on many U.S. Military MK14 Mod O and M-14SE rifles. Standard version offers the same reliability, but maintains the snag-free, low-profile contour of the factory part. Both models have a low maintenance, Parkerized finish to resist corrosion.
