Description
The Magpul MBUS Gen 2 is a flip-up front iron sight designed as a backup sight for the AR-15 platform. It is made of high-impact polymer, which keeps it lightweight and suited to rough handling in the field.
The sight is spring loaded and pops up when activated by pressing either side lever or the top of the sight. It stays upright under spring and detent pressure and folds when deliberately stowed or after a jarring impact. The Gen 2 features a slimmer folded profile for greater optics compatibility, and its front sight post includes a spring lock for consistent elevation adjustment.
The MBUS clamps to any standard Picatinny-railed handguard and provides the same height-over-bore as a mil-spec A2 fixed front sight.
