Description
The Magpul MBUS Gen 2 is a flip-up front iron sight designed as a backup sight for the AR-15 platform. It is made from high impact polymer and is intended to hold up to harsh conditions and rough handling in the field.
The sight is spring loaded and pops up when activated by pressing either side lever or the top of the sight. It stays upright under spring and detent pressure and folds when deliberately stowed or when struck by a jarring impact. The Gen 2 version has a slimmer folded profile for better optics clearance and a spring lock on the front sight post for consistent elevation adjustment.
The MBUS clamps to any standard Picatinny-railed handguard and provides the same height over bore as a mil-spec A2 fixed front sight.
