Description
The Magpul Hunter Lite Remington 700 Short Action is a polymer hunting stock built for Remington 700 rifles and Remington 700-pattern rifles chambered in short-action calibers. It is a slimmed and lightened version of the original Hunter stock, intended for hunters who want a more maneuverable rifle in the field.
The stock weighs 2.4 lbs and has a forend roughly 25% narrower than the original Hunter 700 stock. Receiver support comes from an extruded aluminum V-bedding block with reinforced steel pillars, which are intended to resist compression and deformation while shooting. The stock is finished in OD Green.
The stock can be configured for right- or left-handed shooters by swapping the included inserts.
