Description
The Magpul ASAP is an ambidextrous sling attachment point for AR-15 carbines, designed to replace the standard receiver end plate on the buffer tube. It supports sling use for both left- and right-handed shooters and allows a range of motion greater than 180 degrees for weapon manipulation and transitions between shoulders.
The ASAP is machined from cast steel with a black manganese phosphate finish and includes a welded link ring. It accepts snap hook style attachments and works with one-point slings such as the Magpul MS3. The retailer notes it has been tested to withstand stress loads over 300 lbs.
It fits mil-spec and commercial-spec carbine receiver extensions (buffer tubes) on AR-15 and M16 platforms.
