MDT Tactical AICS .308 Win/6.5 Creedmoor 10-Round Magazine is created utilizing high-strength steel, topped off with nitride inside and outside, then coated with Elite Series Cerakote for ultimate durability, reduced friction, and corrosion resistance. 2 internal ribs are added to help reduce friction between the magazine body and cartridge, offering a smooth transition for cartridges moving in the magazine during the cycling process. With slight modifications, this mag can work with Howa 1500 SA rifles. This mag features a binder plate, which is compatible with firearms equipped with AICS-pattern chassis systems or AICS-patterned bottom metal. The binder plate holds cartridges back in the magazine and will guide them beyond the feed ramp to prevent them from sticking. Outer length: 3.055". COAL (Cartridge Overall Length): 2.870" with the binder plate. Rear height: 3.90". MDT's 10-round magazine comes in around 1/4" shorter than standard AICS 10-round mags due to MDT's DSSF (Double Stack to Single Feed) transitional design. This allows for faster mag changes when in the prone position.
