The magazine body is formed from AISI 1010 carbon steel to close tolerances. Its spring is made from high tensile spring wire with reinforced coils and stiffening folds to improve thrust. The base is available in reinforced nylon or heat-treated steel, designed to withstand drop and slap testing.
