Description
The Mec-Gar Taurus PT92/PT99 DPS is a 20-round detachable magazine for Taurus PT92 and PT99 pistols chambered in 9mm Luger. It is built with a Drop Protection System base pad designed to reduce shock and failures when the magazine is dropped on hard surfaces, which the listing notes applies to self-defense and competition use.
The magazine is formed from carbon steel and finished in black with an anti-friction coating. Its springs are made from high tensile strength spring wire with reinforced coils and stiffening folds to increase thrust force. The base is a fiber-fill nylon or heat-treated steel design.
