The Midwest Industries MCTAR-08HD Heavy Duty QD Front Sling Adapter is a sling swivel mount designed for AR-15 rifles. It attaches to any M1913/Picatinny rail with an Allen-head crossbolt and provides a quick detach loop for a front sling attachment point.
This adapter is machined from 6061 aluminum and has a matte black finish. It is thicker than the standard Midwest Industries QD sling adapter, which the manufacturer describes as adding durability in harsh conditions.
