Globe Firearms~Model 098~8x57 JS

Globe Firearms LTD was a Canadian importer that dealt with post WW2 German Mauser military actions, using them in commercial hunting rifles utilizing lighter wooden stocks. This firearm carries 2 German Eagle stamps. Google tells us that this rifle was probably shipped in pieces to Israel and then assembled from the Mauser surplus parts.
