Zastava M48 8mm Mauser Bolt Action 5-Round Rifle

A genuine piece of Cold War-era military history, this M48 Mauser bolt action in 8mm Mauser wears its Cyrillic factory markings proudly and remains a favorite among surplus collectors and shooters alike. The M48 was produced in Yugoslavia on the classic Mauser 98 pattern the action that has influenced nearly every bolt rifle since. It features the intermediate-length action, a 5-round fixed magazine fed by stripper clips, a bent bolt handle, and full military furniture including an upper handguard, barrel bands, bayonet lug, and cleaning rod. Imported by CAI. This example presents exceptionally well for a service rifle: the bluing is strong, the hardwood stock shows attractive grain under a glossy finish with only the expected service dings, and the serial number is stamped in the buttstock in traditional military fashion. Rated in Excellent Condition (91-98%). Whether you collect Mausers, want an honest shooter for surplus 8mm ammunition, or simply appreciate rifles with a story, this M48 delivers authentic military character at an accessible price.
