Pachmayr Recoil Pad Grinding Templates Set of 4

Pachmayr recoil pads have a steel insert imbedded into the base of the pad. These brass templates are the same sizes as those steel inserts. After removing the existing recoil pad, or if using a stock without a pad installed, the brass templates may be placed on the stock and will show where the holes need to be located and how close the steel insert in the pad will come to the edge of the stock. By using the brass templates, the correct size recoil pad can then be chosen without the danger of grinding into the pad's steel insert. These brass templates are not intended to be used as a guide during actual grinding and fitting. The templates do not include any hardware for attachment to the pad or the stock.
