Proof Research Pre-Fit Tikka T3X Barrel 6mm Creedmoor 24" 1-7.5 Twist

Proof Research Pre-Fit Barrel Features The Proof Research Pre-Fit Tikka T3X Barrel uses a carbon fiber wrapped match-grade steel core to significantly reduce weight over a comparable all-steel barrel while retaining the rigidity needed for consistent repeatable accuracy. Chambered in 6mm Creedmoor with a 1-in-7.5 twist rate the barrel is cut to stabilize the heavier high-BC bullets favored by long-range shooters and competitors. The Sendero contour balances stiffness with a manageable weight profile suited to precision rifle applications. A 5/8x24 threaded muzzle lets shooters add a suppressor or muzzle brake to manage recoil during extended range sessions. Designed as a pre-fit direct replacement for the Tikka T3X action the barrel is finished at 24 inches and weighs 2 lbs 14 oz keeping the rifle balanced without added front-end heft. Installation swaps out the factory barrel for shooters looking to unlock tighter groups and extended barrel life over a standard factory-contour steel barrel. The stainless steel finish resists corrosion in the field standing up to repeated range trips and hunting conditions alike. Rounding out a serious upgrade path the Proof Research Pre-Fit Barrel gives Tikka T3X owners a lightweight match-grade option for chasing precision at extended distances.
