Proof Research Ascension 7mm PRC 22" Threaded Bolt Action Rifle

Proof Research Ascension Features The Proof Research Ascension pairs a traditional bolt action with a carbon fiber Jungle Monte Carlo stock to cut weight without sacrificing rigidity. Chambered in 7mm PRC the rifle feeds from a 4+1 capacity internal magazine giving hunters enough reserve for a quick follow up shot in the field. Its 22 barrel carries a 1-in-8 twist rate matched to the heavier high ballistic coefficient bullets that make 7mm PRC effective at extended range. The threaded 5/8x24 muzzle lets shooters mount a suppressor or brake to tame recoil on a cartridge built for long-distance performance. At 6 lbs 4 oz the Ascension is noticeably lighter than a traditional wood or aluminum chassis rifle a direct benefit of its carbon fiber stock construction. The Black finish throughout the action and barrel gives the rifle a clean understated look suited to both the range and the backcountry. With no sights installed the rifle is intended to be paired with the optic of the shooter s choice for true long-range capability. The Proof Research Ascension in 7mm PRC is for sale at ARMSAGORA for the hunter or long-range competitor who wants premium carbon fiber construction without hauling extra weight into the field.
