Proof Research Ascension Jungle .300 PRC 22" 3-Round Bolt Action Rifle

Proof Research Ascension Features The Proof Research Ascension is built on a titanium receiver from Zermatt Arms mated to a PROOF patented carbon fiber-wrapped match-grade Sendero contour barrel keeping the rifle light without compromising the rigidity needed for consistent accuracy. Chambered in .300 PRC with a 1-in-9 twist rate the barrel is optimized for the heavier high ballistic coefficient bullets favored by long-range hunters. A TriggerTech trigger provides a crisp light break that helps the shooter capitalize on the rifle s sub half MOA accuracy guarantee. The threaded 5/8-24 muzzle ships with a thread protector keeping the rifle ready for a suppressor when field conditions call for one. The carbon fiber Ascension stock brings a modern take to the classic Monte Carlo design with a higher comb and grip that combine for an especially comfortable stable hold under recoil. Finished in Black Jungle camo the stock offers a rugged low-visibility look suited to hunts in heavy cover. Extreme-accuracy bedding ties the action securely to the stock helping the rifle deliver repeatable performance from shot to shot. At just 6 lbs 4 oz the Ascension gives hunters a lightweight rifle built to handle demanding mountain terrain without sacrificing precision.
