Proof Research Pre-Fit Q Fix Barrel 6.5 Creedmoor 20" Stainless

Proof Research Pre-Fit Q Fix Barrel Features The Proof Research Pre-Fit Q Fix Barrel in 6.5 Creedmoor is machined to a Q Fix pattern letting it drop into a compatible action without the custom chambering work a standard blank requires. The 20 stainless steel barrel carries a 1-in-7.5 twist rate a rate matched to the longer heavier bullets that make 6.5 Creedmoor a favorite for extended-range precision work. A 5/8x24 thread pattern at the muzzle is ready to accept a muzzle brake or suppressor so shooters can tune recoil or sound signature to their setup. This pre-fit format is built for the shooter who wants measurable accuracy gains without sending a rifle out for a full custom build. Proof Research built its reputation on stainless and carbon fiber barrel construction and this Q Fix barrel carries that same attention to bore finish and chambering consistency. At 2 lbs 8 oz the stainless steel profile adds some weight over a carbon-wrapped option but offers the thermal stability stainless shooters often prefer for repeated strings of fire. The Pre-Fit Series is intended for direct installation onto a compatible action saving the time and cost of custom fitting. For a shooter seeking a proven repeatable accuracy upgrade from a name trusted in competitive and hunting circles this barrel is a straightforward path to better groups.
