Proof Research Pre-Fit Q Fix Carbon Fiber Barrel 6mm Creedmoor 18" 1-7.5 Twist

Proof Research Pre-Fit Q Fix Barrel Features The Proof Research Pre-Fit Q Fix Barrel is machined from 416R stainless steel a material chosen for its excellent machinability and corrosion resistance in demanding shooting environments. The 1-in-7.5 twist rate is matched to the 6mm Creedmoor cartridge to properly stabilize heavier high ballistic coefficient bullets commonly used in long-range and precision applications. Its Pre-Fit Series design is engineered to headspace onto a compatible action without requiring a full custom gunsmith chambering streamlining the upgrade process. The 5/8x24 thread pattern on the muzzle end allows the shooter to mount a suppressor or muzzle brake for recoil management or sound reduction. At approximately 2 lbs 5 oz this barrel keeps the overall rifle weight manageable while still delivering the rigidity needed for consistent accuracy. The stainless steel finish resists the elements and stands up to repeated cleaning without degrading. Because it is sold as a Pre-Fit barrel it is intended for installation by a qualified gunsmith who can properly fit and headspace it to the specific receiver. This Proof Research Pre-Fit Q Fix Barrel is a solid choice for precision rifle owners looking to extract more accuracy from their 6mm Creedmoor build.
