Proof Research PXT Zermatt Origin 7mm Backcountry 16.5" Carbon Fiber Pre-Fit Barrel

PROOF Research PXT carbon fiber barrels combine next-generation rifling technology with the lightweight performance and precision that have defined PROOF barrels for years. PXT - PROOF Exponential Twist - is a complete rethinking of conventional rifling geometry and twist progression, engineered to reduce engraving force, minimize throat erosion, and create a smoother transition as the projectile engages the rifling.By dramatically reducing rifling lead angle and smoothing projectile engagement into the bore, PXT technology helps reduce wear, improve consistency, and create less felt torque during firing for improved recoil control and the ability to stay on target more effectively. In controlled testing, PXT barrels have demonstrated 30-100% increase in barrel life while maintaining the accuracy standards expected from a PROOF barrel.PXT pre-fit barrels arrive threaded, chambered, and ready to shoulder directly up to your action, offering shooters and builders a streamlined path to...
