Proof Research Q Fix Carbon .223 Remington 12.75" Threaded Rifle Barrel 1-7 Twist

Proof Research Pre-Fit Q Mini Fix Barrel Features The Proof Research Pre-Fit Q Mini Fix Barrel is machined from stainless steel to Proof Research s exacting tolerances giving shooters a precision replacement barrel without the long lead time of a fully custom fit. Chambered in .223 Rem with a 1 in 7 twist rate the barrel stabilizes a broad range of bullet weights from lighter varmint loads up through heavier match bullets commonly used in precision shooting. At 12.75 inches the barrel keeps the Q Mini Fix platform compact while still delivering the velocity and accuracy shooters expect from a quality aftermarket barrel. The 5/8x24 thread pattern is a widely supported standard giving shooters flexibility when choosing a suppressor or muzzle brake. Proof Research built its reputation on precision rifled barrels and the Pre-Fit Series extends that reputation into a drop in format designed to simplify installation for builders and gunsmiths. At 2 pounds 1 ounce the barrel keeps weight manageable on a compact platform which matters for a Mini Fix style build where handling and balance are priorities. Because it is a pre-fit design the barrel is manufactured to headspace correctly with minimal gunsmith fitting saving time and labor over a traditional blank. For shooters looking to upgrade their Q Mini Fix with a proven stainless barrel in .223 Rem the Proof Research Pre-Fit offers precision manufacturing in a straightforward package.
