Proof Research Tikka T3X Pre-Fit PXT Barrel 25 Creedmoor 22" 5/8-24 Threaded

Proof Research Pre-Fit PXT Barrel Features The Proof Research Pre-Fit PXT Barrel is a direct drop in replacement engineered to fit the Tikka T3X action letting owners upgrade their factory barrel without sending the rifle out for gunsmithing work. Chambered in .25 Creedmoor the 22 inch stainless steel barrel carries a 1-in-7.5 twist rate that stabilizes the longer heavier bullets commonly loaded in this cartridge. PROOF PXT technology is built into the barrel s construction giving it the accuracy and heat management Proof Research barrels have become known for among precision shooters. A stainless steel finish resists corrosion while keeping the barrel s profile clean and consistent from chamber to muzzle. A threaded 5/8x24 muzzle gives shooters the option to add a suppressor or muzzle brake extending the rifle s versatility for both hunting and range use. At just 2 pounds 10 ounces this Pre-Fit barrel is notably lighter than many factory options helping keep the overall rifle weight down for hunters who carry their rifle over long distances. Because it is built specifically for the Tikka T3X action installation is straightforward for anyone comfortable with a basic barrel swap.
