Description
The Real Avid Bore-Max Smart Rod is a one-piece pistol cleaning rod built for pushing and pulling jags, patches, and brushes through the bore. Its carbon fiber shaft measures 9 inches overall and is designed to fit pistol bores from .22 to .45 caliber, covering 22 LR, 9mm Luger, and 45 ACP.
The rod uses a vertical grip that offers more leverage and is easier on the wrist and hands than a classic horizontal screwdriver-style handle. Ultra-glide bearings at the handle attachment let the shaft turn smoothly as it follows the rifling, helping the rod clean both the lands and grooves. A wall hanger storage bracket is included for convenient storage.
