Specifications
Description
The Real Avid Bore-Max Smart Rod is a one-piece cleaning rod for working patches, jags, and brushes through a rifle bore. It is built around a carbon fiber shaft and a vertical grip that gives more leverage than a traditional horizontal screwdriver-style handle, which helps reduce strain on the wrist and hand during cleaning.
The handle attaches with ultra-glide bearings, so the rod can turn smoothly as it follows the rifling while cleaning lands and grooves. The rod is 36 inches long and uses an 8-32 thread pitch to accept standard cleaning accessories.
The rod is designed for 30 caliber rifle bores. A wall hanger storage bracket is included for keeping the rod off the bench.
