Description
The Real Avid Bore-Max Smart Rod is a one-piece carbon fiber cleaning rod for maintaining the bore of a rifle chambered in .22 caliber. It is designed to push and pull jags, patches, and brushes through the barrel, following the rifling as it turns.
The rod measures 36 inches overall and uses an 8-32 thread pitch for attaching cleaning accessories. Its vertical grip offers more leverage than a traditional horizontal handle and is easier on the wrists and hands. An ultra-glide bearing handle attachment lets the rod rotate smoothly in the bore.
The package includes a wall hanger storage bracket for keeping the rod off the bench when not in use.
