The Ruger SR1911 Target Semi-Auto Pistol comes factory-enhanced for competition shooting, with a fully adjustable, target rear sight and a dovetailed, semi-post front sight. Precision, CNC-controlled machining results in a superior slide-to-frame fit, and a black, bushing-less, stainless steel bull barrel locks up tight to the slide for superior accuracy. The bull barrel and full-length guide rod add additional weight at the muzzle for improved recoil control. A lightweight skeletonized hammer and a titanium firing pin provide instant lock time. The aluminum skeletonized trigger has a light, crisp break with a quick, positive reset; and the trigger adjusts for over-travel. The Ruger 1911 utilizes an oversized beavertail grip safety, with a pronounced memory bump. A checkered mainspring housing and checkered, rubberized grip panels provide a solid hold. An extended thumb safety and slide stop lever provide positive operation, and a visual inspection port allows confirmation of a loaded chamber. The stainless steel frame and slide of the Ruger SR1911 are finished with a low-glare bead-blasted finish, and the slide is serrated. The Ruger SR1911 Target Semi-Automatic Pistol uses standard 1911 magazines, and accepts most standard 1911 parts, and aftermarket 1911 accessories. Ships with 2 stainless steel magazines.
