Description
The Ruger Blackhawk New Model is a single-action revolver chambered in 41 Remington Magnum, built with a 6.5-inch barrel and a six-round cylinder. Its blued alloy steel finish and fixed-length sight arrangement suit it for traditional single-action shooting and handgun hunting.
The revolver weighs 2.56 pounds and measures 12.38 inches overall. Its adjustable rear sight and ramp front sight allow sight adjustment for the shooter's load and point of impact. The action uses a transfer bar mechanism in place of a safety notch, and the loading gate can only be opened when the hammer and trigger are fully forward.
Ammunition must be 41 Remington Magnum to match the chamber.
