Description
The Ruger Hawkeye Hunter is a right-handed, bolt-action rifle chambered in 308 Winchester, built for hunting and general centerfire use. Its action uses a non-rotating, Mauser-type controlled round feed extractor and a fixed blade-type ejector, and the hinged solid-steel floorplate allows unloading without cycling each cartridge.
The rifle has a 20-inch cold hammer-forged, free-floated, threaded stainless steel barrel with 5R rifling and an LC6 trigger. It weighs 7 pounds, measures 40 inches overall, and holds 4 rounds. A one-piece stainless steel bolt and American Walnut stock complete the build, with a matte finish and a three-position safety.
A 20 MOA Picatinny rail secured with four #8-40 screws is included for optics, and the machined integral scope mounts on the solid-steel receiver remain available. The rifle ships with a factory-installed thread protector and has studs for mounting sling swivels.
