Description
The Ruger 10/22 is a semi-automatic rimfire rifle chambered in 22 LR and built for plinking, target practice and small-game use. It is an autoloading, recoil-operated design with an 18.5-inch barrel and an overall length of 36.5 inches.
The rifle weighs 4.2 pounds and has a satin black finish with an alloy steel barrel and a polymer stock. The stock is textured on the forearm, pistol grip and butt plate. The barrel is cold hammer forged with a precision rifled bore. A cross-button safety in the forward trigger guard can be operated only when the hammer is cocked. The rifle ships without sights.
The rifle uses a ten-round rotary magazine and includes an extended magazine release, M-Lok slots on the bottom of the forend, and a BX trigger.
