Description
The Ruger PC Carbine Magpul Backpacker is a semi-automatic rifle chambered in 9mm Luger. It uses blowback operation and is built around a 16.12-inch threaded barrel with an anodized aluminum finish in black. A ghost ring sight is included, and the rifle has an overall length of 34.37 inches and weighs about 7 pounds.
The rifle accepts a 17-round capacity and is right-hand configured. A custom tungsten dead blow weight shortens bolt travel and reduces felt recoil and muzzle rise. The bolt is machined from heat-treated chrome-moly steel. Takedown separates the barrel and forend assembly from the action without tools after the bolt is locked back and the rifle is verified unloaded.
The carbine ships with an SR-Series and Security-9 magazine well installed, and an additional well for Glock magazines is included. These interchangeable wells allow use of common Ruger and Glock pistol magazines.
