Savage Axis 2 G4 22 Creedmoor 20" Threaded Bolt Action Rifle

Savage Axis 2 Features The Savage Arms Axis 2 is built around a precision button-rifled threaded 20 inch barrel chambered in 22 Creedmoor with a 1:8 twist rate matched to the cartridge s heavier for caliber bullets. The 1/2x28 thread pattern accepts a wide range of muzzle devices or suppressors for shooters looking to tame recoil or reduce sound signature. Thread-in headspacing improves manufacturing consistency from rifle to rifle while the updated bolt handle design enhances control and comfort especially in adverse weather like rain or cold. The user-adjustable AccuTrigger lets shooters set pull weight anywhere from 2.5 to 6 pounds for a trigger that fits their shooting style. The OD Green fixed synthetic stock features enhanced texturing along with a contoured pistol grip and ambidextrous palm swells that make the rifle comfortable to shoulder for both right and left handed shooters. An adaptable length of pull lets the rifle fit a range of body types without needing aftermarket stock work. The detachable box magazine feeds 4 rounds and drops free for quick reloads in the field. With a drilled and tapped receiver ready to accept a scope base a two-position safety and a rubber recoil pad to soften recoil the Axis 2 is built as a complete ready to hunt rifle package.
