Savage Axis 2 400 Legend Bolt Action Rifle 20" Threaded Barrel OD Green

Savage Axis 2 Features The Savage Arms Axis 2 builds on the original Axis platform with an updated bolt handle whose sleek ergonomic design improves grip and control especially in cold or wet weather when hands are less sure. The user-adjustable AccuTrigger lets each shooter dial in a trigger pull between 2.5 and 6 lbs delivering a crisp break that supports accurate shot placement on game. Thread-in headspacing improves consistency barrel to barrel and the 1:16 twist rate is matched to the 400 Legend cartridge for stable bullet flight at hunting distances. The threaded muzzle accepts a brake or suppressor for shooters who want to manage recoil or sound signature in the field. The redesigned stock features enhanced texturing throughout and a pistol grip with ambidextrous palm swells that fits comfortably in either hand during long stalks or extended time at the bench. A detachable box magazine holds four rounds and drops free for fast safe reloads between shots. At 6.8 lbs and a 13.75 length of pull the rifle carries easily over a long day of hunting without feeling unwieldy when the moment to shoot arrives. Finished in matte black on the barrel and receiver with an OD Green stock the Savage Arms Axis 2 is in stock and available for sale at ARMSAGORA for hunters seeking a dependable 400 Legend bolt gun.
