Savage Axis 2 7mm-08 Left Hand 20" Bolt Action Rifle OD Green

Savage Axis 2 Features The Savage Arms Axis 2 is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 7mm-08 Rem built with thread-in headspacing and a precision button-rifled 20 barrel for consistent accuracy shot after shot. The user-adjustable AccuTrigger lets a shooter set pull weight between 2.5 and 6 lbs giving a cleaner break tailored to personal preference rather than settling for a factory-fixed trigger. An updated ergonomic bolt handle design improves grip and control during cycling which especially helps in cold or wet field conditions where a slick factory handle can slow a follow-up shot. The threaded barrel accepts a muzzle brake or suppressor directly extending the rifle s usefulness for hunters managing recoil or sound on public and private land alike. The fixed synthetic stock is finished in OD Green and shaped with a contoured pistol grip and ambidextrous palm swells giving a stable repeatable cheek weld and hand position in the field. This left-hand configuration is built specifically for left-handed shooters putting the bolt handle safety and ejection port on the correct side for natural operation without compromise. A 4-round detachable box magazine allows quick reloads during a hunt and the drilled and tapped receiver is ready to accept a scope base and rings for mounting optics of choice. At 6.70 lbs the Axis 2 remains light enough to carry comfortably across long days afield while still delivering the accuracy Savage rifles are known for.
