Savage Axis 2 5.56 NATO 20" Threaded Left Hand Bolt Action Rifle

Savage Axis 2 Features The Savage Arms Axis 2 is built around a 20 inch carbon steel barrel finished in matte black with a 1:7 twist rate suited to a range of 5.56 NATO bullet weights. The redesigned bolt handle features a sleek ergonomic shape that enhances control and comfort during operation especially in adverse conditions like rain or cold weather. A two-position safety and the user-adjustable AccuTrigger which breaks anywhere from 2.5 to 6 lbs let the shooter dial in a trigger pull that matches their preference. The gray synthetic stock features a built-in pistol grip with ambidextrous palm swells giving the rifle comfortable ergonomics regardless of which hand the shooter favors elsewhere. A detachable box magazine holds 4 rounds and feeds reliably through the Axis 2 s bolt action and a rubber recoil pad helps manage felt recoil across a day at the range or in the field. The receiver is drilled and tapped giving the shooter a ready base for mounting a scope of their choice.
