Savage Arms Axis 2 G4 243 Win 20" Left Hand Bolt Action Rifle

Savage Axis 2 Features The Savage Arms Axis 2 is built around a button-rifled free-floating 20 carbon steel barrel with a 1:9.25 twist rate and a 5/8x24 threaded muzzle giving shooters the option to add a suppressor or muzzle device for their .243 Win setup. The user-adjustable AccuTrigger breaks anywhere from 2.5 to 6 lbs letting the shooter dial in a pull weight that suits their preference rather than living with a fixed factory setting. An updated bolt handle carries a sleek ergonomic design that improves control and comfort especially when operating the action in cold or wet field conditions. The two-position top tang safety and drilled and tapped receiver round out a rifle built for dependable repeatable field performance. The fixed OD Green synthetic stock features a pistol grip with ambidextrous palm swells and an adjustable length of pull so left-handed shooters of different statures can get a consistent comfortable mount on the gun. A rubber recoil pad helps tame felt recoil from the .243 Win cartridge across long days afield. The detachable box magazine feeds 4 rounds and drops free for quick reloads and at 6.7 lbs the rifle stays light enough to carry comfortably on extended hunts. Built for left-handed hunters on a budget the Savage Arms Axis 2 delivers tack-driving accuracy without the premium price tag of a custom rifle.
