Savage Axis II XP 7mm-08 Bolt Action Rifle 20" Threaded with 3-9x40 Scope

Savage Axis II XP Features The Savage Axis II XP is built around a precision button-rifled barrel and the AccuTrigger which lets the shooter dial in trigger pull weight for a crisp repeatable break that supports accurate shot placement. An enhanced bolt handle design improves grip and leverage during cycling helping a hunter stay on target for a fast follow-up shot. Chambered in 7mm-08 the rifle offers flatter trajectories and lighter recoil than larger magnum cartridges making it well suited to hunters of varying experience levels pursuing deer-sized and larger game. The hardwood stock s enhanced texturing keeps the rifle secure in hand during wet weather or while wearing gloves and the ambidextrous palm swells suit both right- and left-handed shooters. The detachable box magazine allows quick reloads afield and the blued finish stands up to repeated exposure to the elements. Since the 3-9x40mm scope ships mounted and bore-sighted new and experienced hunters alike can get this rifle into the field with minimal setup time.
