Savage Axis XP 25-06 Rem 20" Threaded LH Rifle with 3-9x40mm Scope

Savage Axis XP Features The Savage Arms Axis XP is loaded with features that deliver tack-driving accuracy on every shot starting with a precision button-rifled 20 barrel threaded at 5/8x24 for a muzzle device. Thread-in headspacing tightens factory tolerances an advantage that pays off in the flat-shooting .25-06 Rem cartridge at extended hunting ranges. The two-position top tang safety keeps operation quick and simple and the trigger breaks in a 5 to 7 lb range for consistent shot placement. The updated bolt handle carries a sleek ergonomic design that enhances control and comfort during cycling especially useful in cold or wet field conditions. The black synthetic stock is molded with a pistol grip for a stable repeatable hold across hunting positions. A 4-round detachable box magazine allows quick reloads on follow-up shots and the drilled and tapped matte black receiver leaves the door open for a different optic setup later. The rifle ships with a factory-mounted and boresighted 3-9x40mm scope carrying a Duplex reticle saving the shooter a trip to the range just to zero. At 7.6 lbs and 40.5 overall this left-hand Axis XP in .25-06 Rem is a ready-to-hunt package for open-country big game hunting.
