Description
The Savage Arms AXIS II Compact Youth is a bolt-action rifle built for young or smaller-statured shooters who hunt. It uses the Remington 700 platform and is chambered in 7mm-08 Remington, a popular hunting cartridge.
The rifle has a 20-inch barrel, a matte OD Green finish, and a 4-round capacity. It is operated by a bolt-action mechanism with a redesigned ergonomic bolt handle intended to aid control in rain or cold weather. The stock features enhanced texturing and a pistol grip with ambidextrous palm swells. The user-adjustable AccuTrigger and thread-in headspacing are included in the design.
The AXIS II line is also offered in full-size and left-hand configurations, in OD Green, Gray and FDE finishes, and in additional hunting calibers.
