The Savage 93R17 BTVSS is a bolt-action rimfire rifle chambered in 17 HMR, built for varmint shooting and recreational rimfire use. It pairs a stainless steel heavy varmint barrel with a thumbhole stock finished in a wood-grained laminate and a Monte Carlo-style comb. The rifle is fitted with the AccuTrigger, which offers adjustable pull weight for a crisp break.

The rifle has a 21-inch barrel, an overall length of 40 inches, and a weight of 7.25 pounds. It is right-hand operated, feeds from a detachable box magazine holding 5 rounds, and ships without sights, so it is intended for use with an optic or aftermarket sights.
