Savage Axis XP Compact LH 400 Legend 20" Threaded 4-Round Rifle with 3-9x40 Scope

Savage Axis XP Compact Features The Savage Arms Axis XP Compact uses a precision button rifled 20 inch barrel with thread in headspacing for consistent accuracy in 400 Legend. Threaded 11/16x24 the barrel accepts a muzzle device sized for this straight walled cartridge giving hunters options for recoil management or suppression where legal. The enhanced bolt handle features a sleek ergonomic design that improves user control and comfort during operation especially in adverse conditions like rain or cold weather. A matte Black finish covers both the carbon steel barrel and receiver resisting glare in bright field conditions. This rifle ships with a factory mounted and bore sighted 3-9x40mm Duplex scope eliminating the need to source and zero a separate optic before heading afield. The compact sizing shortens the length of pull to 12.75 inches making the rifle a better fit for smaller framed or younger left handed shooters without sacrificing the performance of the 400 Legend cartridge. The ergonomic stock includes enhanced texturing and a contoured pistol grip with ambidextrous palm swells for a confident hold. Feeding from a 4 round detachable box magazine and weighing 7.60 pounds the Axis XP Compact offers a complete ready to hunt package in a more manageable size.
