Savage Arms Impulse Core Hunter 270 Win 20" 4-Round Bolt Action Rifle

Savage Impulse Core Hunter Features The Savage Impulse Core Hunter uses a straight-pull bolt-action design that cycles with a simple back-and-forward motion rather than the traditional lift and rotate giving hunters bolt-action reliability at a speed closer to a self-loading rifle. This speed matters most on driven hunts where game can appear and disappear in seconds and the Impulse keeps the rifle on target between shots. The ambidextrous bolt handle is built to serve both left-handed and right-handed shooters equally well a notable advantage over traditional bolt guns. A threaded 5/8x24 muzzle accepts a suppressor or brake and the receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounting. The Dark Gray AccuStock with AccuFit V2 system allows hunters to adjust length of pull and comb height for a precise repeatable cheek weld shot after shot. A user-adjustable AccuTrigger offers a crisp clean break that complements the fast-cycling action and an integrated Picatinny mounting rail with 20 MOA forward cant extends the practical range of mounted optics. The 20 heavy sporter threaded barrel keeps this rifle lighter and more compact than other Impulse models suited specifically to fast-handling driven hunt scenarios. At 7.9 lbs this Impulse Core Hunter in 270 Win delivers speed accuracy and adjustability in one dedicated hunting package.
