Savage A22 FSS 22 LR 22" 10-Round Semi-Auto Rifle

The Savage A22 FSS is a right-handed, semi-automatic 22 LR rifle built on a straight-blowback action. It is intended for target shooting, plinking and small-game hunting with rimfire ammunition.

The rifle has a 22-inch sporter barrel with a matte stainless finish and a 1:16 twist, and an overall length of 41 inches. The receiver is stainless steel, the stock is black synthetic, and the rifle is fitted with an AccuTrigger and a manual safety. It has no sights installed. Its detachable box magazine holds 10 rounds.

The A22 FSS uses Savage's thread-in headspace system and is listed with a 5.6 lb weight in the structured specifications. The retailer listing gives a 10 lb weight, which conflicts with that figure and is not reflected here.
