Description
The Savage Arms Model 64 Precision is a semi-automatic rimfire rifle chambered in 22 LR, built for plinking, target practice and small-game use. It houses a semi-automatic action in a glass-filled nylon chassis with a carbon steel receiver and barrel.
The rifle has a 16.5-inch barrel with a 1/2-28 threaded muzzle and an overall length of 35.5 inches. It weighs 5.47 pounds and feeds from a 10-round detachable magazine. The receiver is drilled and tapped and includes a one-piece Picatinny rail, but the rifle ships without iron sights. The matte black metal finish is paired with a Flat Dark Earth chassis.
The forend is M-LOK compatible and the grip uses an AR-compatible interface for customization. An integral barricade stop helps establish a stable shooting position.
