Savage Axis 2 Pro 7mm-08 Rem 20" Threaded Bolt Action Rifle Mossy Oak Bottomland

Savage Axis 2 Pro Features The Savage Arms Axis 2 Pro carries a precision spiral fluted 20 barrel finished with a 5/8x24 threaded muzzle ready to accept a brake or suppressor without any gunsmithing. The Black Cerakote finish covers the carbon steel barrel and receiver giving the rifle a durable low-glare coating that holds up to wet and abrasive field conditions. A one-piece 0 MOA Picatinny rail rides atop the receiver for straightforward optic mounting and thread-in headspacing helps keep the action tight and accurate from the factory. Chambered in 7mm-08 Rem the rifle offers a flat shooting mild recoiling cartridge well suited to deer and mid-size big game. The Mossy Oak Original Bottomland synthetic stock gives this rifle a finish built to disappear in hardwood timber and its ergonomic design with enhanced texturing and contoured pistol grip with ambidextrous palm swells keeps it comfortable through a long sit. The enhanced bolt handle design improves grip and control when cycling the action quickly in cold or wet weather. The user-adjustable AccuTrigger lets a shooter dial the pull weight for a cleaner crisper break suited to their preference. At 6.9 lbs the Axis 2 Pro stays easy to carry into a stand making it a solid pick for hunters wanting a threaded camo-finished bolt rifle straight out of the box.
