Savage Arms Axis 2 Pro 7mm-08 Remington 20" Bolt Action Rifle

Savage Axis 2 Pro Features The Savage Arms Axis 2 Pro carries a precision button-rifled 20 barrel spiral fluted for reduced weight and finished with a 5/8x24 threaded muzzle ready for a brake or suppressor. The Gun Metal Bronze Cerakote finish covers the carbon steel barrel and receiver giving the rifle a tough weather-resistant coating well suited to rough field use. A one-piece 0 MOA Picatinny rail sits atop the receiver for optic mounting and the two-position top tang safety provides simple reliable operation. Chambered in 7mm-08 Rem the rifle delivers the flat trajectory and manageable recoil that make it a popular all-around big game cartridge. The Savage Western Camo synthetic stock gives the rifle a finish built for open country hunting and its fixed design with contoured pistol grip and ambidextrous palm swells keeps the rifle steady and comfortable through long days afield. The enhanced bolt handle design improves grip and control when cycling the action quickly especially in cold or wet conditions. The user-adjustable AccuTrigger lets a shooter set the pull weight anywhere from 2.5 to 6 lbs for a cleaner break tailored to their preference. At 6.9 lbs with a 40.5 overall length the Axis 2 Pro stays easy to carry on long hikes making it a solid choice for hunters who want a threaded camo-finished bolt rifle straight out of the box.
