Savage Axis 2 Pro 5.56 NATO 20" Threaded Bolt Action Rifle

Savage Axis 2 Pro Features The Savage Arms Axis 2 Pro in 5.56 NATO is built around a 20 inch spiral fluted and threaded barrel finished in Gun Metal Bronze Cerakote across both the barrel and the carbon steel receiver. The 1 in 7 inch twist rate stabilizes a wide range of 5.56 and .223 Remington loads while the 1/2x28 thread pattern accepts a muzzle device or suppressor for recoil and noise management. The user-adjustable AccuTrigger breaks anywhere from 2.5 to 6 pounds letting the shooter set the pull to match their technique. A two-position safety and a one-piece 0 MOA Picatinny rail round out a rifle built for consistent repeatable accuracy at distance. The redesigned stock brings enhanced texturing and a contoured pistol grip with ambidextrous palm swells and a 13.75 inch length of pull gives a comfortable mount for a range of shooters. Finished in Savage Western Camo synthetic material the fixed stock pairs naturally with the Cerakote metalwork for a cohesive open-country appearance. An enhanced bolt handle design improves grip and control when cycling the action particularly useful in adverse weather. At 6.9 pounds and 40.5 inches overall with a detachable box magazine holding 4+1 rounds the Savage Arms Axis 2 Pro gives right-handed hunters a dependable rifle at an accessible price point.
