Savage Arms Axis 2 Pro Woodland 5.56 NATO 20" Bolt Action Rifle

Savage Axis 2 Pro Features The Savage Arms Axis 2 Pro in 5.56 NATO is built around a 20 inch spiral fluted and threaded barrel finished in Gun Metal Bronze Cerakote across both the barrel and the carbon steel receiver. The 1 in 7 inch twist rate stabilizes a wide range of 5.56 and .223 Remington loads while the 1/2x28 thread pattern accepts a muzzle device or suppressor for shooters looking to manage recoil and noise. The user-adjustable AccuTrigger breaks anywhere from 2.5 to 6 pounds giving the shooter control over trigger feel without a trip to the gunsmith. A two-position safety and a one-piece 0 MOA Picatinny rail round out a rifle built for consistent repeatable accuracy in the field. The redesigned stock brings enhanced texturing and a contoured pistol grip with ambidextrous palm swells giving the Axis 2 Pro a more comfortable secure hold than earlier Axis rifles. Finished in Savage Woodland Camo synthetic material the fixed stock pairs naturally with the Cerakote metalwork for a cohesive field-ready appearance. An enhanced bolt handle design improves grip and control when cycling the action particularly useful in cold or wet conditions. At 6.9 pounds and 40.5 inches overall with a detachable box magazine holding 4+1 rounds the Savage Arms Axis 2 Pro gives right-handed hunters a dependable accurate rifle at an accessible price point.
