Savage Arms SPR Impulse Core Hunter PRO 7mm Backcountry 16.5" Bolt Action Rifle

Savage Impulse Core Hunter Pro Features The Savage Impulse Core Hunter Pro s straight-pull action lets the shooter run the bolt forward and back in one motion without breaking cheek weld closing the speed gap between a traditional bolt gun and a self-loader. The DLC coated bolt body resists wear and corrosion while its threaded bolt handle positioned for ambidextrous use lets left and right-handed hunters run the action with equal ease. A 16.5 inch heavy sporter barrel with spiral fluting sheds weight and helps dissipate heat keeping the rifle light for still hunting and stand sits alike. The threaded muzzle accepts the included Omniport Muzzlebrake to tame recoil on the 7mm Backcountry chambering. The AccuFit V2 stock s interchangeable grip modules and M-Lok panels let the shooter customize fit and add accessories without a gunsmith while the exclusive LimbSaver recoil pad cuts felt recoil by up to 50 percent. The user-adjustable AccuTrigger breaks cleanly within a 1.5 to 4 pound range giving precision shot placement when a driven hunt presents only a brief window. An integral 20 MOA Picatinny rail comes ready for optics right out of the box and the 3-round AICS magazine allows quick reloads between passes. Hunters chasing a lightweight fast-cycling rifle for fast-moving game will find the Core Hunter Pro built exactly for that job.
