Savage Arms 42 Takedown 22 LR/410 Bore Over Under Combo 20" Black

The Savage Arms 42 Takedown is an over/under combination firearm with a 22 LR rimfire barrel on top and a .410 bore shotgun barrel below, built for survival, truck, camping and general-purpose use. The break-action design lets the action open with a push of a button so the gun can be taken down into its two barrel sections.

Both barrels are 20 inches long, giving an overall length of 35.75 inches and a weight of 6.1 pounds. The carbon steel metalwork has a matte black finish, and the post front and open V notch rear sights are on the top barrel. The rifle sights can be removed to mount a scope base.

The 22 LR barrel fires rimfire rounds and the lower barrel fires .410 bore shotgun shells. Capacity is one round per chamber, and the firearm is ambidextrous.
