Description
The Savage A17 Target Thumbhole is a semi-automatic rimfire rifle chambered in 17 HMR, built for target shooting and small-game use at rimfire ranges. Its action is a delayed-blowback design made specifically for the 17 HMR cartridge, with a hard chrome bolt and a case-hardened receiver.
The rifle has a 22-inch button-rifled barrel with a fluted heavy profile, a 10-round rotary magazine, and a gray wood-laminate thumbhole stock with a matte finish. It has no sights, so an optic or other sighting system must be added. Overall length is 41.5 inches and weight is 7.08 pounds. The trigger is user adjustable, and the rifle is configured for right-handed shooters.
