Description
The Savage Arms A22 Target Sporter is a semi-automatic rimfire rifle chambered in 22 LR. It is built for target shooting and plinking, using a delayed-blowback action and a user-adjustable AccuTrigger for a clean, consistent trigger pull.
The rifle has a 22-inch blued carbon steel barrel and an overall length of 41 inches. It weighs 5.6 pounds and is offered in a right-hand configuration. It feeds from a 10-round rotary magazine and ships without sights, so an optic or iron sights must be added separately.
The A22 uses a lightweight aluminum receiver and a thread-in headspace system, the same design used on the brand's centerfire rifles. A hard chromed bolt with dual controlled round feed is included.
