Savage Axis 2 XP 22-250 Rem LH 20" Threaded Bolt Action Rifle w/ 3-9x40 Scope

Savage Axis 2 XP Features The Savage Arms Axis 2 XP pairs a precision button-rifled barrel with a drilled and tapped receiver giving shooters a rifle that is both accurate and ready for further customization. The 20 carbon steel barrel wears a matte black finish and a 1/2x28 threaded muzzle so a brake or suppressor can be added without gunsmithing. A 1:12 twist rate stabilizes the 22-250 Rem round for the flat-shooting high-velocity performance varmint hunters depend on. The enhanced bolt handle design gives a positive confident grip for fast cycling between shots on running game. The OD Green synthetic stock features enhanced texturing and a contoured pistol grip with ambidextrous palm swells keeping the rifle steady and controllable from field positions. A rubber recoil pad soaks up felt recoil during long days on stand while the adjustable length of pull lets the rifle be tailored to the shooter s build. The detachable box magazine holds a 4+1 capacity and allows quick reloads in the field. Factory mounted and bore-sighted the included 3-9x40mm Duplex scope features fully multi-coated lenses and tool-less windage and elevation adjustments making the Savage Arms Axis 2 XP a complete left-hand hunting rig ready to head to the field.
